The Minnetonka Cave is the largest developed limestone cave in Idaho. From June 15 through Labor Day, the U.S. Forest Service offers a tour through a half-mile of stalactites and stalagmites, impressive formations created by mineral rich water deposits inside the cave. The site does not provide handicap access or climbing stairs, and is not recommended for visitors with heart or respiratory conditions.
